38mm x 38mm Direct Thermal Labels

These 38mm x 38mm direct thermal labels are for thermal printers and do not require ink, toner, or ribbons to print. Matt white thermal paper labels laminated with a permanent, acrylic adhesive mounted on to a glassine liner. Supplied in rolls of 3600 labels, outside wound on a 76mm (3“) core, with a maximum outside diameter of 203mm (8“).

A choice of three direct thermal paper finishes is available. Standard Economy direct thermal, a Top Coated direct thermal paper or a Premium Top Coated direct thermal paper finish. Our Direct Thermal Economy labels are suitable for indoor short life applications. For long life labelling we recommend using our Premium Top Coated labels. These offer a crisper print that is resistant to grease, oil and water.

Fully compatible with most Direct Thermal printers including Citizen, Datamax, Eltron, Fargo, Intermec, Markem, Sato, Tec and Zebra. If you are unsure if these are the labels for your printer, please feel free to contact us on 01799 550963.

Materials

Direct Thermal Economy Paper (ECO)

A non-top coated paper with a high sensitivity thermal coating produced totally without BPA-based chemistry. The face paper is made from FSC ™ Certified (mix credit) pulp. Limited resistance to thermal image scratching or smudging. Suitable for information labelling in dry environments such as price marking and other short life retail and logistics end-uses.

Direct Thermal Top Coat Paper (TOP)

A top side barrier coated paper with a standard sensitivity thermal coating produced totally without BPA-based chemistry. The face paper is made from FSC ™ Certified (mix credit) pulp.

Direct Thermal Top Coat Paper provides a high image quality when printed. Designed for information labelling requiring good bar code scratch resistance and excellent scanning properties in dry end-use environments including retail, transport, and logistics.

Direct Thermal Top Coat Premium Paper (TOP-P)

A top and reverse side barrier coated thermal paper with a standard sensitivity produced totally without phenol-based chemistry, made from FSC ™ Certified (mix credit) pulp.

Designed for a wide range of industrial applications including pre-packed foodstuffs, engineering, healthcare, logistics and product labelling. Recommended for labelling applications where a premium resistance to grease, oil and water is required.
